I certainly hope so, Crawdaddy. If it's being lovingly restored I look forward to the result and will remain patient of course... Maybe I'll check eBay for the CAV LD release for the time being.

I'd hardly call Warner's vaults the pit of hell.

I saw a documentary on film preservation that showed the inside of their vault and it looks pretty good. (At least I hope that was the vault...I could spot a stack of film cans marked "Casablanca")

Ryan's Daugter is WB (part of Turner library)

Where Eagles Dare is upcoming from MGM (a UA film)

Freaks is WB (Turner package)

If it's made by MGM and was made before 1986, it's with WB (with extremely few exceptions). If it's WB from before 1950, it's with WB. If it's United Artists TV, it's with WB. Rope is the only WB movie that isn't still owned by them (Universal aquirred it after Hitchcock bought it from UA)

I'm pretty sure MGM owns the original Outer Limits TV show since they also produced the remake (and inferior) "new" show.

I want Valley Girl and Last American Virgin on DVD more than anything else. C'mon MGM at least consider them.

I'm sure I'm the only one who wants this, but I will absolutely do anything to see the 1985 cult-Stooges film, Stoogemania. Imagine seeing it in its OAR... *drool*
But some other MGM properties:
RoboCop 1, 2, and 3 SEs
Escape From New York: SE
Casino Royale
Ah, now we have The Fog & Teen Wolf in August. Nice. :D

Both Kansas City Confidential and Odd Man Out have been released on DVD.
The Outer Limits, original series (first season), is due out on DVD this Fall.
The Howling S.E. is due soon. Here's a comment from Joe Dante:
Dante wanted to produce a new Howling: Special Edition (release date TBA) because he was dissatisfied with the previously available movie-only edition. "They're doing The Howling as a special edition at my insistence, because I was so annoyed with the transfer of the last DVD. I didn't like it and I suggested that it might be a good idea to do another transfer. So we did, and it's got a documentary on it that's not bad, plus most of the stuff that was on the old Image laser disc." The new documentary incorporates old footage from behind the scenes and new interviews from the participants. The commentary will be the same as the one on the laser disc. "I didn't feel that I needed to do another commentary. In fact, Chris Stone, who's on the commentary, has passed away, so it seemed like it would be better to preserve that one." (source: SciFi Wire)
The Fog S.E. is due for release this August. It will be presented in a new 5.1 Dolby Digital surround remix along with its original English mono track, and will also include a new video introduction and liner notes by director John Carpenter, and 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen. Other extras to be announced later.
