Would it be possible to rename this thread to something else, as to not confuse with the official "200x Film List" threads?

Coolness. I'm going to try and track something different this year.. how much sheer $ studios bet on the marketing of projects and track the ones that get the early traction. I just got the complete studio release list for 2005, so I'll edit it out to exclude some data and post ;)

Son Of the the Mask 2/18/05

"And Lo, the moon did turn red as blood
and the seas did boil and the birds fell from the sky
the earth did vomit up its dead
and the air itself did turn into a posion
and there was a great cry unto the Heaven
from the righteous and unrighteous alike, saying:
'We can take the bloody moon and the boiling seas and the dead birds and the walking undead and the posionous air...but what did we do to deserve Son of the Mask?"
And the Lord did answer, "My bad."
and Lo, a meteor did fall upon the Cinema of the New Line
and all was right in the world.
Except for the bloody moon and the undead and all the rest."

Goblet of Fire is coming out in '05? Nice, I was convinced it wouldn't hit till 2006 :D

Ernest, I cannot laugh at your post, for it's too close to the truth ;)

I saw the trailer for Son of the Mask. I'm convinced it'll not only be the worst movie of 2005, but the worst sequel ever made, yes, ever worse than Police Academy 7: Mission to Moscow. :)

I'm glad the Cars trailer was on afterwards to wash off some of the filth. Of course, the main feature, some movie called The Incredibles helped too. :)
