I'm thinking of purchasing the JVC AV-27F703 from my local BJ's for $299.99 and am looking for opinions from the experts.

Vijay A that sounds like a real good deal. I paid about that much for a JVC27D303 and it wasn't a flat screen. It's got a nice picture and I felt it was a good purchase, so I'd have to say go for the flat screen!
