Severin Films are one of the newer cult DVD firms in the trade, specialising in very obscure erotica. They continue their run of good work with this top notch DVD release of a little known but very good bit of softcore from the 1970s, best known because it was scripted by the writer of the original 'Emmanuelle' novels. Fortunately it is more than just that and boasts strong direction and acting. Not one for the sleaze hounds, this often quite strange film comes recommended.

If memory serves me correctly, wasn't Linda Lovelace originally set to place Laure?

Yes, the producer discusses this in the newly recorded DVD interview. They actually shot some scenes with her (a few frames of which apparently remain in the film), but fired her when she refused to play in the nude scenes...
