My thoughts are with Johnny and the rest of her family. I can't get the image from the video "Hurt", of her standing in the stairs looking at Johnny, out of my mind right now. I never listened to her own music much, but just having co-written "Ring of fire" makes her an icon in my book.

To be totally honest, I never bought any of her records or cds, but I know there are many country music fans out there who have alot of respect for this woman who opened so many doors to other female country artists. My thoughts and prayers go out to her husband Johnny Cash and to their families.
