JBL NSP1 vs JBL NSP1 II (1 Viewer)

I have read that the difference between both was a lawsuit lost against BOSE.

But, which one should I be looking for?

Which one is better, the NPS1 or the NPS1 II?

If both are properly connected and adjusted and equally powered, can it be an audible or performance difference?

The following was posted in a previous thread ...

(via JBL Customer Service email) is that the changes with the MARK II are mostly cosmetic; driver cone finish, extra tweeter protection, slightly altered enclosure dimensions on some models. Interestingly, the biggest change is the Northridge N26II, which now uses a wood enclosure over the molded plastic enclosure similar to the N24II speaker.

So, if you can get the original NSP1 for less money, ... get that one! Otherwise, you won't lose any sonic performance w/NSP1 Mark II if that's the only one you can get!
