Did anyone that purchased the Daniel Craig 4k set have their digital codes redeem in 4K?

mine were hd only but I’m hearing that codes are redeeming in 4K on the single version 4k Craig discs that just came out?

I would love for my digital copies in vudu to be updated to 4k.

I wasn't planning on it, but picked up the 4 Craig 4k movies for $14.99 each today. Delivery date is kinda TBD right now, but it looks like sometime between April 7 and the 17 for Casino Royale, Quantum and Skyfall. Spectre is out of stock at the moment.

got it. Can you confirm the digital code is redeeming in 4K when you receive?

odd thing about the set. It had a code sheet in the 4k set and the blu ray set. Confusing that both redeemed in hd

Had a hard time with this one coming up on the amazon prime search engine on my tv.

did a google search and it came up right away:

https://www.amazon.com/View-Kill-4K-UHD/dp/B07JKQQM9G/ref=nodl_

watched most of it tonight. Used my 4k Apple TV device instead of streaming through my lg OLed app.

I though picture was better, color richer and darker contrast overall.

glad these are back in prime for a while.

I’m have the iTunes versions in my wish list now.

my love of the 007 films in 4K has not been reduced however.

Not at all. It holds up pretty well. Just suggesting the quality might be even higher normally. :) with all subscription streaming services currently reducing bitrates I think iTunes purchases are the only thing currently streaming full quality. (For now anyway)

from what I saw last night James Bond has NOT finally met his match.

hoping to finish a view to a kill tonight. Got too late.

I talked with my wife about going through the films in order. May go back to Dr. No next. or watch every Bonds last film.
except Spectre!

I got three of the four yesterday and redeemed the digital through Vudu (sidenote: what a crappy system...the QR code doesn't do jack crap...).

When I go into Skyfall, Casino Royale or or QoS, the "more info" on the bottom of their pages shows 4k. Other titles which I don't have on UHD (Pixar Shorts, for example), just show 1080p.

So...I believe they redeemed in 4k based on that info.

does it show “you own UHD”?

thanks!

i wonder if mgm, fox and vudu are aware of the box set redeeming as hd only.

Would vudu be the best point of contact?

For the three I received yesterday, yes. For Spectre (from a prior BD purchase and redemption), it shows I own HDX.

I got the 4-film set on 4K disc a while back and my Vudu digital copies are only showing HDX as well. <_<

My wife and I did a one-Bond-film-a-week-a-thon starting with Dr. No back in October. The announcement of NTtD being delayed till November came between our viewings of TWINE and DAD, so we just watched DAD to get it out of the way (my god this movie gets worse every time I see it, except for the pretty good first 20 minutes that the movie doesn’t capitalized on in the least). We’ll go through the Craig films when it gets closer to November and do one-a-week with those, so it’ll be a while before I watch my 4K discs. I was very excited to go through his films again. It’s been a while.

I’ll buy up ANY sets they may release on 4K disc. Not sure what they’re gonna do with Lazenby’s one and Dalton’s two. Maybe an “And the rest” collection?

im ready to buy the sets too. I’m going to see if the iTunes 4k versions go on sale too.

die another day. I actually really like the first half or so of the film.

also I like the Madonna theme song.

I’ll let you know about the digital codes for the 4k Craig set too.

They're going to release the rest as a twenty-whatever film collection and make everyone who's already bought the Craig collection double dip. What else? lol

Sent an email to vudu.
Hopefully their customer support has improved and you have better luck. Each time I contacted them in the past regarding an issue, they were completely useless and never resolved my issue. I think I had one trouble ticket open for about a year before they finally closed it as "resolved" when they hadn't done anything. That particular case I resolved myself by contacting my credit card company to get a refund probably nine months before Vudu closed the ticket.
