Hopefully their customer support has improved and you have better luck. Each time I contacted them in the past regarding an issue, they were completely useless and never resolved my issue. I think I had one trouble ticket open for about a year before they finally closed it as "resolved" when they hadn't done anything. That particular case I resolved myself by contacting my credit card company to get a refund probably nine months before Vudu closed the ticket.

no response

There's a worldwide pandemic going on, so they may not be running at full efficiency.

Also, they're just the provider. The studio is the one that released the codes. Perhaps you should reach out to them.

Ok

I wonder if I can contact vudu or ???

I think the digital copies in the box set should’ve redeemed as UHd

This isn't something Vudu can help you with - you have to contact the studio. They are the ones who issue the codes and choose what resolution you get.

Remember that UHD blu-ray codes often do redeem in HD because that's what the studio has chosen for that release. A UHD disc purchase does not mean that the code is going to give you a UHD digital copy.

Interesting. I didn’t know that, and in practice, all of my UHD disc purchases have yielded me a 4K digital copy EXCEPT for this Daniel Craig Collection.

Fox has responded and told me that’s how it is essentially.

I made a complaint over this as it’s misleading. Why include 2 he digital codes in the set for the 4 films?

they asked me for a ton of stuff, upc, receipt picture of the product with case number on it. Also a copy of the digital code sheet too.

Ill keep you posted. I would imagine this happened to a lot of people who bought the 4 films set. Now they are putting 4k digital in the single film sets.

I have tickets open with vudu and fox.

I need some help. Fox is staying that vudu doesn’t have casino royale and the other 3 Craig 007 films in 4K. Therefore they can’t upgrade my digital copies to 4k

I believe it was reported that the digital codes on the individual Craig UHd blu rays are redeeming in 4K.

can someone confirm this for me? I would appreciate any help. I’ve tried to look for the 4k versions on vudu online as well. A vudu 4k screenshot would be very valuable too.

aside from vudu is there anywhere else (other service) an mgm Bond digital copy can be redeemed?

if you have other recommendations I would appreciate them as well.

thanks all!

I don’t own them in 4k, but VUDU gives me the option to purchase Casino Royale in the UHD version:

Scroll down and you'll see, "4K, Dolby Vision, HDR10, Dolby Digital Plus 5.1"

That language is on Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, and SPECTRE.

As an aside, it looks like 4k Bond movies are coming to Vudu on April 14. I wish they upgraded the way iTunes does.

so they will not auto upgrade but perhaps they will for users who previously entered a digital code from a 4k set that redeemed as hd only?

I think my post is a bit confusing.

no one has the James Bond films in 4K on vudu then?

has anyone redeemed their 4k digital codes on the individual Craig 4k discs? (Not the set)

It looks
Like they will be updating my vudu copies of the Craig films to 4k soon.

I also picked up all of the other films in iTunes today. 4k versions.

min tired of waiting for the discs and $115 for them is a good price for me.

ohmss probably first or maybe one of the Roger ones.

cant wait and I’m glad the wait for 007 4k is over for me.

wow. Finally received a new code from fox today. Long story short of you bought the 4k UHd Blu Ray set they did not include 4K digital codes. Rather they included 2 hd codes for the films.

I had to have customer service open a formal complaint with management to resolve. They asked for pictures of the product, upc, etc.

the new code redeemed on vudu for UHd.

mid you have questions let me know too.

whew.

Thank you for that! I generally don't make lists like this but in looking this over, this is pretty close to my feelings. I might re-arrange a few things but it's minor.

What it does make realize is that I like 17 of these movies. :)

yeah. I have my favorites but I don’t really list them anymore either. It was interesting that they asked which one do you want to watch now. I had recently watched some of them and it was hard to choose some for me. My list is accurate to what I do watch though..

I live all of the films too. But have my favorites.
Cool that you have Moonraker so high.

I sent my list to a friend and his list was mine flipped the other way.

if I had to do a list of the best overall films that is much different from what I like to watch. But then it’s a bit more predictable too.
