I've been getting several random DDHELP winn.dll errors while surfing for the last 2-3 months and I've heard it could possibly be due to bad memory.

Question is how do I test my memory? Is there a good free dowloadable program, maybe a website that tests it? I thought PC Pitstop would, but I don't see where it does.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Note: I use Windows 98, IE6.0 and keep the system defragged etc on a regular basis.

You'll do no better than Memtest86. It's free, released under the GPL and very comprehensive (but simple to use). There's even a pre-compiled version for Windows users who don't have access to a Linux box.
