Front projector slightly out of focus (1 Viewer)

Hey HT Wizards I need your help...I'm brand new to this stuff and I have recently purchased a Used Sony VPL-W400Q front projector. The picture seems to be incredible especially in HD using an S-cable hook up to my cable HD cable box. The only problem is it is slightly out of focus. If I could only turn the manual focus ring just a little more it seems it would be perfect. Any sugestions???

Thanks Bob...I do have the manual and it does have a couple of pages on the specs for the throw distance can you tell me in layman's terms how to apply it to my situation. Thanks

Just a point of clarification. You can't get HD over s-video. You can only get it using HDMI, DVI or component cables. If you are using a S-video cable you are seeing downconverted images coming out of the cable box. If you think it looks good downconverted over S video wait until you see it in HD.
