What a great movie. I can't help but watch it everytime it comes on Cinemax (which is quite often).

Anyone else enjoy Mr. Freeman's performance?

For those confused, the movie in question is "Lean on Me"

It's a good film, but at times it gets too heavy-handed in its approach. It tends to over-dramatize and brings in elements that aren't needed-i.e. the obstinent mother who crusades to have Joe Clark removed. I can understand her resentment, but I think they gave her storyline way too much credence. So, overall, it was a good film, had some glaring flaws but was ultimately saved by Morgan Freeman who does turn in a terrific performance.

If the question is about Freeman's performance, than yeah - that I enjoyed.
The movie as a whole? [IMG]
