The store located at Eaton Center has been closed for about two weeks and I was wondering if anyone knows why.
Hope it is temporary. It had a good selection of Criterion and other titles not available at Future Shop or HMV.

That's sad to hear. Being a Montrealer myself (who moves around a lot), I could always count on Metro video to deliver great selection and prices (okay, maybe not great prices on the Criterion stuff, but still).
    UPDATE
My sources in the city inform me that they've moved and are currently located below the Paramount.

Yes, they are open for business and now located below The Paramount! They now have two and a half times more retail space, halogen lights, brand new wooden floors, bare ceilings... A really nice place!
And of course, a huge selection of DVDs to choose from!
BTW, they also sell VHS... for now. [IMG]

I much prefer their new location, and the store is much more pleasing to the eye. At least now I can fit through the aisles without having to take off my schoolbag. [IMG]
