Dual laser pickup (1 Viewer)

This was a popular feature back in the laserdisc days to play cd's well. Panasonic advertises it as a feature but I have not seen it on any other brand. Is there a consensus on whether or not this is important in a dvd player?

Actually, alot of DVD players have it. Nearly all Pioneer players, I think? My Sony 7700 has one laser for CD and one for DVD. In the early days of DVD, most of the players that would play CD-R's had dual lasers. I'm not sure about the present. These jack of all trades players may do it with one now?
