hi all, i fairly new to windows and need help figuring out where my problem is.
i have an nec multisync 97f and a radeon 9000 pro video card.i have it running at 1280/1024,32 bit,85hertz, on xp pro.
my monitor has visible squiggly lines on a dark screen, not distortion just wave like stuff going on, and slight flicker thats barely visible.
only noticeable when looking for it,but irratating once noticed.i am wondering if the issue is my monitor or card. all the settings are within spec for the monitor according to manual.
any ideas whats going on?

The flicker is most likely caused by the refresh rate being a little too low for your eyes. Try taking it up higher than 85hz.
