does anyone know where I can purchase vandersteen speakers at a discount? specifically looking for the v2w subwoofer. my dealer in los angeles does not do any discounting at all. thanks in advance!

Vandy dealers generally don't do discounts. It is why Vandersteen lists their price on their web site.
The best way to find one for less is to get one used. Audiogon is considered one of the best places on the web for finding used gear.
