Rear speakers or subwoofer for Sonos arc (1 Viewer)

Hi

I have a Sonos Arc as a soundbar for TV but would like to improve the system
Should I add a subwoofer
Or should I add rear speakers e.g. Era 100

Any recommendations including specific hardware would be appreciated

If the Arc can utilize the Era 100 speakers as rear surrounds as part of a 5.1 system, then they would be a good addition for any 5.1 programming you watch. The sub would also make a big difference, if the Arc has provisions for using one. However, it will likely have to be a Sonos subwoofer.

As Wayne said, it depends on the capabilities of the soundbar, plus it really is a personal decision. Those are two completely different upgrades, and it depends on what is the priority for you.
