It usually takes about a week to get stuff from them, though my Ninja Turtles season one took 2.5 weeks after they had delayed several times by cancelling my order twice.

Sure, I'm out some $250... But who really cares? Bring it on!
So what was everyone's damage? I dropped close to $300 for this sale. Went for almost all Criterion.

Reno 911: The Complete 1st Season (1st was hilarious, 2nd has been lacking) The American President (The picture quality is wretched but even a horrible transfer will not dim the brilliance of the words of Aaron Sorkin) Best in Show (Christopher Guest's best mockumentary in my opinion)

I didn't order all that much (just ~$130) I placed the order on Saturday and it arrived today (the following Saturday).
Vicar of Dibley - Divine Collection To the Manor Born - Complete Series Jonny Quest - 1st Complete Season Star Trek 5 - Final Frontier
I decided that with the sale, STV was finally inexpensive enough to buy. I haven't seen it since possibly opening day. That item actually is back ordered and won't arrive for a week.
I had also ordered The Moody Blues - The Lost Performance Live in paris '70 which was a preorder not supposed to be available until next week. So, I had put that in a separate order, but they apparently had it in stock and included it with the items from the sale. It was only $8 anyway.
...I remember when reel.com had a thing called "Bottle Rocket" were if you answered enough triva, one question for a day, for about a month, you would get a $10 credit to their site. I set up literally 20+ accounts, and would get a few DVDs a week, all brand new, for around $7 including shipping. Duece Bigalow, Next Friday, just to name a few. I think people like me made them stop having that sale,
Judging from a quick glance at the e-mails I got today, all of my non-backordered items (at least) have shipped! They've clearly done well at scaling to meet this surge in demand.

Can't wait to get some of these in the player! (My wife is heading out of town for a week with the kids shortly -- coincidentally, just about the time these will arrive in the mail. hmmmm....)
What a great sale! I'm already making a list for the next one. Enjoy your discs, everyone!
I hear it's pretty good! On a tangent, where were you all when I needed inspiration!! I never thought about The Tick, Dilbert, or a host of other programs I'd been putting off because the prices were outrageous. I'm very dissapointed in all of you for not making me spend more.
Thank God for this sale! I almost blew a $50 Barnes & Noble gift card to get the CC edition of THE LEOPARD. DDD's price w/20% was $28.50 & arrived in 5 days at the free shipping option.
This was the first DDD 20% sale I've ordered on, it sure makes a "on the fence due to price" purchase very easy to fall on the 'buy it" side Only becuae of this great sale I ordered all volumes of the Sherlock Holmes UCLA restored DVD's, including the Hound's and Adventure, and Frasier season 3 for kicks
Now to fight the urge to buy now and just save up for the next one
$1 each for each troma disc... you got ripped off! Didn't you get in on the $0.25 each disc sale? I did, and I'm still not sure if I got ripped off. =)
Here's to DDD bringin' back the thrill of the old glory days!
I'm still cursing DDD, and thanking the gods that the sale is over. I only got 2 orders in and one was to beat out items I had bought in the previous month. The second order... well, there's $125 that I didn't want to spend. =(
Thanks DDD for making DVD purchases a thrill again.
