decent paradigm sub for around $500? (1 Viewer)

I've got paradigm reference speakers(studio 40's and center and surrounds) and am looking for a good sub for the system. does paradigm make anything decent in the $500 range. How would it compare to the STF-2? anything better out there for the price? I don't want to get anything really huge because of room limitations(10 X 14). appreciate your advice. need to act soon.

For that money, the STF-2 or VTF-2 are good bets. If you could stretch the budget a bit more, you could pick up an SVS 25-31PCi, and in the price range of the STF-2, there is also the Adire Rava.

Yeah - you don't need to match subs w/ the rest of your speakers. Get the SVS.

Steve...I've got a used Paradigm PW-2200 sub for $575. This is a highly rated sub, and in perfect condition!!

BTW....I am waiting for delivery of a SVS PC-Ultra in about a week or so!!
