I have just purchased the Superbit version of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and I was wondering if anyone who has the Superbit version had an opinion on the disc. Such as:
Is the audio/picture quality an improvement over the previous release?
On the Superbit, which track is better, the DTS or DD?
Just wondering if anyone has any opinions.....

I notice that the DD tracck is louder, but the DTS is still preferred. The Video is noticably better on a quality display. Exactly what you would expect from a Superbit. I actually own both editions. I kept the old one for the extras.

When you say the video quality is better, do you know if it was struck from a new print, or does it still have the nicks, scratches, and pops seen in the first release?

It has all the same nicks and scratches. I believe the process that Sony uses is they make one raw HD transfer, then re-encode that transfer with their various releases.
