cp72 have 4:4:4 processing, and 4:3 shrink function??? (1 Viewer)

I am sure this has been answered before, but I can't find it...from what I have been hearing everyone is saying that panasonic website is wrong. So I just wanted to confirm these functions are available with the cp72. Thanks!

Yes the CP72 does indeed have 4:4:4 processing and the 4:3 Zoom Function. Panasonic's site is very inaccurate in many ways.

ok...right now i have a 4:3 TV non progressive...however I will be upgrading the TV within the next year. In the meantime if I get this player the zoom function will be beneficial to me if I want to get rid of the of the black bars? This is my first DVD player, so I am not too comfortable with all the lingo yet.
