I wish that if Olive was going to release stuff like this, they'd try some of the Roy Rogers westerns. I would think that there would be more demand for some of those.
I would love it if Olive would put out Roy Rogers films uncut .

Thanks for keeping us informed of what Olive is up to. I think they are doing one terrific job of work. Looking forward to The Big Combo in particular. I have the Image dvd but i am sure that Olive will top that with the Bluray

Anybody know what's the deal with foreign films previously announced as coming from Olive, such as Man on the Roof? Technical problems, maybe.

PLUNDER ROAD is the leanest and tightest of the genre films Regalscope made for Fox. A solid film noir about a gold robbery on a moving train and the attempt to getaway. A smart script.. Clocks in around 75 minutes so there is no padding just relentless narrative. Directed by Hubert Cornfield who later did NIGHT OF THE FOLLOWING DAY (1968). I recommend PLUNDER ROAD to film noir enthusiasts.

September 24 release.

TAM LIN aka THE DEVIL’S WIDOW
Will the release of Tam Lin be Roddy McDowall's original version, the AIP version, or both? Also, will the intro by McDowall carry over?

Thank you very much. I've never seen this one. It sounds interesting.

I'll also join those with high enthusiasm for Plunder Road. Definitely one to look out for. As for the upcoming release of The Big Combo, the involvement of UCLA and The Film Foundation should all but erase any doubts that this will be a definitive release of the title. The Image Entertainment disc was for a while, but that was done way back in 1999.

Same here. Outside of John Wayne, Roy Rogers was one of Republic's most valuable stars. I'm sure many are being passed up for being public domain, but they can't all be PD, can they?

Guess it's too late to hope for DR. TERROR'S HOUSE OF HORRORS for Halloween this year...?

Fear not- they've yet to announce their October slate of titles. Some hope remains :)

What a coincidence! Just yesterday I came across a still - or perhaps a publicity shot - from this film and it set me thinking that I'd like this one in my collection. Ursula Thiess had a fascinating face, totally individual. Robert Taylor was a lucky man. (The Ursula Thiess film I'd most like is Bandido! Why has that gone missing?)
