I recently bought a house that came with a media room. The projector is an InFocus 4805 and I am unable to get the colors correct. I have done multiple searches but to no avail. I have looked at the cables and they all seem to connected correctly and without damage.
Can someone help with a few suggestions? Thank you in advance for the help.

Since you said component...
I got nothing...
Unless your source(which is???) is set RGB and needs to be YPbPr(or vice versa)

Well, what exactly is wrong with the color?
How does it look if you try composite? or S-Video?
What is the signal source device?

When watching a football game the field is gray, the blues are purple and oranges may be brown.

Like Sam asked, my first thought is that you have one or more cables plugged into the wrong color. And make sure to check the projector end and the other end. What is the source(DVD player, etc)? If they are hooked up right, I would try a different set of comp. cables. They may have left the projector because it is shot.

I will check the cables again. I have Time Warner Cable being routed through a Sony receiver.

Thank you for all the help. I finally figured it out. The connections were wrong in the ceiling. I unscrewed the panel and realized the cables did not match the outlets.

Glad we were able to help...and it ended up being simple...
By the way, you might try the M1/DVI connection...It should improve the picture. If I remember correctly, that is HDCP compliant so it will work off a BD players HDMI...
