Have nothing substantial to add, other than this:

For a few months after we had to watch this movie in 8th Grade English so many years ago, anytime someone would do something stupid in school, the popular thing to say was "you pulled a Charly Gordon!"

What a trippy movie. Hope it sees the light of day soon on DVD. . .
