Wanted to let you guys and gals know that if you order Cars and Ratatouille together at Amazon, you'll get $10 off, making the price around $38 for both including shipping. Not a bad deal at all. :)

Just an FYI, that the $10 off doesn't show up until the final checkout screen. Great deal!

Hmm, wonder if this is going to be applied to my pre-order via their "low-price guarantee" (or if they set this price at 12:01am yesterday, so it doesn't count).

Jason,
They blew me off when I sent them an email about it so I had to call them to get a $10.00 off promotion on my next order.

I love you guys!

What a deal! $33 for both. Just ordered!

PS: I have PRIME so that may account for the additional discount.

I still need to find out whether Ratatouille is Region A coded, which I suspect it is. That would leave Cars, which is definitely all regions, the only Pixar movie candidate for my shopping list!

I just watched both of them.

Jaw dropping is a term I haven't used since I first saw an anamorphic DVD on a properly calibrated widescreen TV.

What I saw and heard tonight made that first experience seem like an 8mm film in 6th grade science.

Chris,

Animation like this was made for this type of medium. I was
as equally impressed with the audio/visual presentation that these
Blu-ray discs provided.

These are a "must buy!"

In fact, they take the 10% off first. So that's $47.90-$4.79-$10.00=$33.11 for both movies!

A no-brainer. I just ordered it.

Thanks for the heads up. I already had these ordered so I called and they gave me $10 off my next order.

Now I just need a studio to announce a title I'm interested in so I can use it.

1. Build a time machine.

2. Travel back to 2006.

3. Buy either an HDTV, HD player, or three HD movies from Amazon

You'll get 10% off all HD-DVD and BD purchases until the end of 2007, and that 10% is applied before any other discounts (so, during the buy-one-get-one sale, I bought two $23.50 movies, they knocked $4.70 off, and then deducted $23.50).

The time machine is the important part.
