I have been looking at AxiomAudio and I am a little confused on what their Frequency Response is telling me. Below is what I see under their top of the line center channel, the VP150.

Freq Resp+/-3dB(Hz) 85-22K
Freq Resp +3dB/ -9dB (Hz) 50-22K

This is not how I see other rate their response. Thanks for the help.

That means that the realistic frequency response if from 85-22khz. That means any given frequency in that range is no more or less than 3db from reference.
The second line says the same thing, only no more than 3db more or 9db less. So in other words, the 50hz point is 9db less than reference, which is much quieter than the rest of the frequencies that the speaker produces.

You could say the speaker has a response from 30-22khz, but that 30hz point would be at like -20db, or not even audable. What they are trying to say is that anything below 85hz is going to be quieter, but until you reach 50hz, there is still decent output. After 50hz, I am sure it drops off really fast.
