Calibration with a Yamaha 995? (1 Viewer)

I have a couple of questions regarding calibration for a Yamaha 995 receiver. First, I cant reach 00 on my receiver to get reference level because it doesnt tell me the db on the screen all I get is volume up or down. Second, my main on screen volume is set at -10, do I need to change this? Basically I need someone that has the receiver to explain to me how to calibrate it correctly. Thanks
