Hey, all. It's been a while since I've posted in the Hardware section but I had a quick question. Now that it's old news, the Yamaha RXV-1 receiver can be had pretty cheaply and I'm thinking of picking one up to replace my faithful 995. I'm most interested in the component video switching, as I have a Dish6000, progressive-scan DVD player, and an Xbox to plug into a TV with only two component inputs (and only one of those was ISF-calibrated).

Does anyone know, or is there a way to find out if the component switching offered by the RXV-1 is capable of handling both progressive-scan and HiDef images?

Darn, I meant to post this in the Receivers section. Could an admin either close this and I'll post it in the proper place, or else maybe move it for me?

Sorry about that...:b
