Now that MGM has released Great Escape in R1 land has anyone heard anything regarding BTF Special Edition?????

I too am looking forward to this title being released as a two-disc special edition in R1. It's already out in R2 and possibly elsewhere. Considering the materials exist it's taking MGM surprisingly long to release these special editions such as A Bridge Too Far, The Great Escape, and Misery in R1. Is this simply a marketing decision or are there other factors?

Well it took them 2 years to release Great Escape SE in R1.
Which is the same sh**** transfer as R2 SE.
I triple dipped on that title, bought original R2,R2 SE and finally i thought they would get it right R1 SE to find out that it was the same(almost it does have the original mono sound).
I´m hoping for a new transfer on BTF,but i´m not optimistic.
