I hope the print is visibly better than the previous already-anamorphic transfer. I usually upgrade only if the original is non-anamorphic and the new is anamorphic but when you read "newly remastered" you get your hopes up.
I read one review at DVD Talk and he said the transfer was an improvement (including a wider aspect ratio than the original version).
