"Black Hawk Down" subtitle problem! (1 Viewer)

I watched "BHD" last night and had to turn off sub-titles several times. It came up by default. My player is a new JVC 500. I have only seen one rental do this before, has anyone seen this?

Wow, that's too bad. I'm glad I've decided to wait for the special edition that's coming out later. Maybe the problem will be fixed. Is this the same glitch as on the MP & the Holy Grail DVD?

What is it with the studios that they keep having this problem?

It's probably an authoring package that they have in common. The software manufacturer needs to find the problem, the studios/authoring houses can't do anything about it until they do
