B&W DM 602 S2 - What Receiver??? (1 Viewer)

I'm in the market for a first set of speakers and after listening to many sets in various stores and talking to some people about nice speakers. I've decided to buy a set of DM 602 S2 's. Since I also need a receiver for my home theater setup. Are there certain type of receivers that compliment certain speakers better than others. Basically I'm looking for recommendations on a receiver to buy to go with these speakers, thanks ....

I have those same speakers along with the CC6 and the 601 (rears) I run them off a onkyo txds676 that has 85x5 rms. Sounds great!

Sorry, I have no help on the receiver.

I'm still looking for speakers, and the guy at the A/V store said the 602 Series 3's are going to be available soon. Maybe end of January. Not sure if you getting a good deal on the Series 2's.

Oh.. I was listening to the 303's and they had it connected to a Marantz receiver. Not sure what model.
