B&W 6XX - Series 2 vs. Series 3 (1 Viewer)

I'm not sure if I want to go new (601,602 S3) or used (601, 602 S2). What are the technical / performance differences between the Series 2 and the Series 3?

I believe the Series 3's are rated to have slightly better bass performance. However, I added two 602 S3 speakers as rear centers to go along with my current 602 S2 surrounds. I cannot distinguish any sonic difference between the two models in my setup.
