I have a set of Bose 601 IV series towers, a Bose center, and Jamo bookshelf rears. I had a Str-Dh770 Sony receiver, however it is now in permanent Protection mode......looking to eventually upgrade from the Bose, and the 770 powered them fine, but it is a paperweight now! Thanks everyone!

Just double checking that you did all the possible troubleshooting before spending money...

Did you remove EVERYTHING (speakers and components) and try plugging in one speaker at a time? Reason: Shorted wire, speaker, or component.

Did you try to reset? Google the model number and 'reset' and there should be a way to do it.
