Ascend CBM-170s? (1 Viewer)

I'm planning on getting these bookshelf speakers for use with my Yamaha receiver in a room about 16' x 16'. I'll be getting an SVS PB1 ISD mind you, for the bass. I haven't been able to hear these anywhere (don't think they're even sold with dealers anyhow) nor have I seen much mention of them here.

Does anyone have these, and how do they sound with music? It's what I will be mainly using them for.

If these speakers aren't very good, are there any recommendations for a pair of bookshelves that would cost the same as these.

Clear. Very clear. Watch out for bad recordings though.

You'd be hard pressed to beat the 170's for the price. Great speakers.

Ascend is an internet only company...meaning you won't find them at any "dealer" store. Ascend has great customer service and you can't lose with their 30-day money back guarantee (well, I guess you do lose shipping, but still...)
