Aperion Audio vs. Paradigm Monitor 5.1 system (1 Viewer)

I have been in my local shop listening to Paradigm's Monitor series (I have listened to the 11's and the 5's) and so far these are my "reference" speakers in that they are the highest price wise I am able to go. My question, how would a 5.1 system of Monitor series components compare to the Aperion 5.1 systems. I realize the Paradigm would be a bit more expensive as a whole so if someone could let me know if they felt the extra expense was worth it, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
