I purchased a pair of Bogen/NEAR A6 speakers recently. That is I thought I did, they are actually A6Ts, which is identical, only it is a '70/100v' version.

Specs can be found here.

I had intended to use them as surrounds [I have NEAR 50ME-II mains and a 20M center], but I don't want to fry anything. Is there any way to connect these, get properly calibrated output, and not fry either the speakers or amplifier?

My Amp is a STRDA777ES.

The 70v version will have a transformer, which you will need to bypass. I get the impression from the link that it’s internally mounted. Maybe you can open up the cabinet and see.
