Anyone else have this AOL Instant Messenger Problem? (1 Viewer)

Hello chums,

I think this is a recent problem, because a Google search only yielded three hits, all from message board posts made within the last two weeks.

Whenever I try to sign on to AIM with a particular user name, I get this error message:

"unknown error. try again later. error code 1."

This is a problem specific to this username, and on a specific computer. My AIM id is "Chancellor Todd." If I sign on on another machine, I can get in. If I use AIM express, I can get in. If I use another AIM id on the problem computer, I can get it. This problem only occurs with one username on one computer (The username and computer I use most often, unfortunately.)

I have tried uninstalling and resintalling. Does anyone know what the problem could be?
