These are the 'most-wanted' titles I'd like Fox to release on DVD in 2002 (apart from The Verdict and The Hustler which they've already indicated are in the works). It would be nice to hear from Peter Staddon (hope I've remembered the name right!) whether they have plans for any of them.
Miller's Crossing
Barton Fink
3 Women
Julia
Black Widow
Little Big Man
Hombre

Bruce,
In September, I was at the facility that was in the process of removing dirt and scratches from "Hombre" in preparation for its dvd release in 2002. According to Fox, they no longer own the rights to "Little Big Man". As far as "Miller's Crossing" and "Barton Fink", I expect both of these to be release in 2002. I don't have any information on the other titles.

Robert,
Thanks for the information. I'm glad to hear they have Hombre in the works, and it sounds like they are doing a proper restoration job on it.
Does anyone know who now has the DVD rights for 'Little Big Man'?

I'd forgotten that 'Flight Of The Phoenix' is a Fox title, but that's another one I'd add a vote for.
Still no takers on whom I should be nagging to release 'Little Big Man'?

Bruce - my understanding is that Paramount currently owns the rights to LITTLE BIG MAN, and I believe Mr. Blythe mentioned somewhere that they were checking it out to see what needed to be done to release it.

Dick - thanks for the information on Little Big Man. If Paramount are looking at it, then it's reasonably hopeful that we might see it in 2003 if not before. I hope so anyway. If anyone else is interested in having it on DVD, please add your vote, so that Paramount get a clear message!
