Bit of a beginner so please bear with me.
I'm using a 5.1 set up with an old Denon Receiver and a subwoofer that takes banana input. The way things are set up is 2 subwoofer banana cables are inserted into the Front L and Front R speakers. The receiver has been set to send signals Below 80hz to the sub (although I don't know if this functionality works since I'm not using the pre-out to connect the sub). I can adjust the Front speaker level, however is there a way to boost the subwoofer without boosting the front speaker levels? Is there a way to boost the low frequency signal only?
