A couple of DV-563A questions (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know if there is a black version of the DV-563A planned for production any time soon?

Also, does it have any scaling features for viewing non-anamorphic and 4:3 titles on 16:9 TV's that lock in full mode when receiving a progressive signal?

There are no current plans for a black version but that could always change.

The 563A does NOT perform scaling. I'm in the same boat as you, my TV locks into full mode too.

Looks like i'm going to be sticking w/ my RP91 for awhile... maybe the new Denon 2200 universal player will have scaling when it is released... it's supposed to be a less beefy version of the 2900, so i'll keep my hopes up.
