Thanks for the explanation. So maybe she is not mad at Jack and other people trying to keep her away from him.
Yep.SamT said:So maybe she is not mad at Jack and other people trying to keep her away from him.
I don't believe Kate is pissed at Jack (at least not directly). She is upset because she has lost her job because her husband leaked U.S. secrets. Even though she was cleared of being involved, it doesn't say much about her abilities if she didn't realize her husband was doing what he was doing (at least not to her bosses). As far as she is concerned, Jack is just another wanted terrorist. The fact that, from an official standpoint, he betrayed his country (although we, as viewers know that isn't true), she may be transferring some of the feelings she has for her husband to Jack.SamT said:You didn't mention Kate Morgan. Why she is so pissed at Jack?
In addition to what David said, Kate is a new character for this season so there's no history between the two.SamT said:You didn't mention Kate Morgan. Why she is so pissed at Jack?
Or he's worried that his wife will run off with Jack.TravisR said:They're assuming that she would be upset by being reminded of Jack and, by extension, her torture by the Chinese and mental breakdown.
I thought that was her.Simon Massey said:wow - Catelyn Stark is the villain!!!! (Love Michelle Fairley)
Oh ok. I thought she was an old character the way they played her.TravisR said:In addition to what David said, Kate is a new character for this season so there's no history between the two.
No doubt.SamT said:Episode 2 had more unwanted laughing moments.
No. Never say never but I'd be surprised if any other old characters return since they'll want to make sure that everything is accessible to the widest possible audience and because they have half the amount of shows as usual.SamT said:So do we know the woman at the end of episode 2 from before?
It was very original when it first started, but that's part of the problem. 24 paved the way for a lot of what you describe here, but now it is all rehash. 24's been rehashing itself since like the 4th season.Sam Posten said:24 Noob reporting back here. Not feeling it after Episode 1, seems like a rehash of so much we have seen before:- "bad" guy purposefully getting themselves caught (Thor, Bond just to name 2 recent ones)- Chloe seems like a total rip from The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo- Bass drops all over the place for dramatic tension- The eye rolling forgetful president and the bad guy tied to the beautiful presidents daughter linesWill stick with it but I guess I was expecting something a bit more.... original...
