Savage Garden: The Affirmation Tour.

Was very good... had some nice features in it too... Too bad the band broke up... now it's just Darren Hayes.

'The Last Waltz' DVD is so good it looks like it was shot yesterday. So if you're a fan, you're going to be very pleased!

The Psychedelic Furs live DVD from House of Blues is 16x9 I believe. It's also extremely good with a DD 5.1 track and a 24 bit 48K PCM track. (a dts version is also available but lacks the glorious PCM track)

The Corrs Live In London
This is a Canadian R1 release that I just received from Sam Goody, and it's FANTASTIC.
It's also my first 16:9 concert video.
The video is streets ahead of the Corr's Albert Hall disc.

I'm not sure if it's available in region 1 yet, but "ROBBIE WILLIAMS - LIVE AT THE ALBERT" on region's 2 and 4 is just sensational.

It is now my number one demo disc for it's super sharp 16:9 Anamorphic image and the incredible Dolby Digital Soundtrack.

If you like swing music, this disc is a must.

Re: The Corrs Live In London

Amazon shows this with their usual ambiguous description as both full-frame and widescreen. They do show the studio as Wave Imports. Would you please check and see if this is the edition you describe?

Thay also show ASIN: B00005OM5N

Thanks very much.

Underworld's live dvd is 16:9. Pretty nice looking except for some artifacting caused bythe photography. Great sound.

LarryH, yeah, that's the one...Here's the quote from the back cover:
The live performances on this programme are presented in 16:9 anamorphic aspect ratio, suitable for playback on a widescreen TV. If you are viewing on a conventional TV (4:3 aspect ratio) please ensure that your DVD player display is set to playback in 4:3 letterbox.
Not only is it widescreen anamorphic, but it's 105 minutes, 26 tracks with a 20 minute behind the scenes documentary.
Audio tracks are Dolby 5.0, Dolby 2.0 and DTS 5.0. It also has song lyrics as a subtitle option, and 3 tunes that have multiple angles option (5 different angles)
Hope this helps
Cheers

Randy_M,
Great news! Thanks for checking. :)
My order is in, unfortunately Amazon says it will be 2-3 weeks before shipment.

Bela Fleck and the Flecktones - Live at the Quick
Is in 1.78:1, but NOT anamorphic. I don't know what they were thinking?? -- the picture looks pretty bad zoomed in on my 16:9 set. The sound on the other hand is quite good: DD 5.1 & PCM Stereo.
Diana Krall: Live in Paris
Springsteen At the Garden are both reference quality, picture and sound.
