I have a home theater receiver feeding both a 4k tv and a 4k projector. The receiver only has 1 HDMI out. I bought a HDMI 4x2 HDMI switcher from Monoprice. After I hooked it up, it flashed when I tried to watch the tv and projector (separately). It never displayed what I was trying to watch. What do I need to be able watch either the tv or projector? My alternative is to keep switching each HDMI cord into the back of the receiver each time I want to watch anything on the tv or projector.
