I have a Sony STR-DE997 7.1 receiver and a older 70" Vizio LED E700i-B3, connected via Digital optical cable. I have Frontier Fios STB, Apple TV, PS4, and Nintendo Switch connected to the TV using HDMI.
Since the battery on my UPS died (not sure if this is coincidence or not), I haven't been...
I recently bought this soundbar and I’m probably going to bring it back since there has been a couple of issues with it. 1st, there is a delay with audio and changing the AV sync settings doesn’t seem to get it to sync right...also, when I turn it on, the soundbar and the speakers play at the...
Well folks, after what 4 years, I’m finally upgrading our master bedroom TV with a new Vizio 55” M Series Quantum
(4K of course) It replaces our 2015 model Vizio 50” M-Series (4K but no HDR or Dolby Vision). The 50” will be wall mounted in our den which could prove useful for movie viewing...
I have a 4K Vizio I bought a few years ago. No complaints but today, I noticed a faint flickering on the left side. It’s a rectangular shape the brightens briefly and drops to normal. When I put up a static image, I can see the dark rectangular area. I’m wonder if the pixels are dying. Any thoughts?
Now this is getting interesting.
Vizio has brought their Quantum technology to their M-Series TV.
Costco has the 65” M-Series Quantum for $789.
Might just change my bedroom TV upgrade plans.

It seems like I am always having an issue. I just got a Vizio V Series 50 inch with Dolby Vision and I just got an LG UBX 90 4k player with Dolby vision. When ever I play a disc with Dolby vision, there is a stuttering effect, looks like a slight freeze frame during movement. Example, during...
Just picked up a P55-F1 Vizio and having a devil of time getting it to work correctly with my Denon AVR.
I have an old AVR-1613. Yes I know it doesn't support 4k but I don't have a 4k source yet other than streaming via the P55 options (Amazon, Vudu, etc).
When I plugged everything in, I ran...
Sound bar question (yes, I know which forum I'm at...): has anyone here upgraded from Vizio's sb3621n-e8 or sb3621n-f8m to one of their 5.1 sound bars (such as sb3651-f6). If so, how well do their satellite speakers work? Do they add a worthwhile surround improvement? And are the sound bar and...
So far its working out pretty well over ARC. Now its lossy so it only supports regular old DTS and Dolby Plus. This model also has something of a bad rap for turning off on its own but its only happened to me twice in isolated cases and both instances involved playing streaming content. Its been...
I recently bought this model to replace my old Vizio E-50. Blu-Rays look amazing, and I'm very happy overall with the picture quality. However, I've noticed a recurring issue with some channels, especially Netflix and broadcast TV networks. There is a lot of noise floating in the background that...
I've been comparing these two models online, and they seem almost identical in features. But the C1 is around $500 while the F1 is closer to $800. This will be my first 2160p TV. I currently own a Vizio E series 50-inch that I've had a little over 4 years. I've been very happy with it, but I'm...
My LG plasma recently met an unfortunate end, and I'm now in the market for a new TV. My budget and requirements might be slightly unusual because while this TV will be in our main living room, it's not necessarily going to be the primary display device, as I also have a projector in the same...
Good day folks.
Well if all goes according to plan (knock on wood) next month (July), I'll be buying my birthday gift, the new Vizio P75, F1 for the main home theater setup. What I seek now is advice on the best & least expensive way to purchase.
Options so far are:
1. Vizio Direct.
2. Best...
I am having audio dropouts which happen periodically where the sound with cut out for half a second. I am connecting using the Vizio Soundbar (model SB2920-C6). I have it connected via audio optical cable. I have even replaced the cable and still have the same issue. The Vizio Soundbar worked...

Hello, I'm currently looking at purchasing a new display. I'm looking at tvs around the $700 range and 55" or larger.
With this budget, I'm thinking the vizio m series would probably be the best bang for the buck. I generally like Samsung products, but in looking for a display that is 4k, as...
Has anyone had eyes-on experience with the 2017 Vizio P65 and the Sony X900E 4k sets? I'm circling around these two for my next one, and I'm having a hard time deciding. I've had really good luck with Sony products in general and their 1080p RPTVs in particular over the past several years, but...

2017 CE Week TV shoot out
I had the pleasure of being one of the judges for the CE Week 2017 TV Shootout in NYC today. I flew in earlier in the week to be part of the calibration of the 6 UHD HDR 65” TV sets on Tuesday. The TV Shootout originated from our friend Robert Zohn...

Got the Vizio SB3851-D0 5.1 Soundbar recently and have it connected directly to my Sony Blu-ray player via digital coax. I just use it for movies only and use the TV speakers when watching TV.
Problem is when watching TV and I use the TV remote to control the TV volume...the soundbar light...
Hi everyone,
I'm really new in term of pimping my TV setup, except for the fact that I have a hdmi splitter and a laptop connected to stream stuff to my TV..
I decided to go with a soundbar + subwoofer + 2x satellite speakers with this Vizio s3851x kit.
I mounted everything and did a clean...
Frankly, I never cared for Vizio displays. Anyway, FYI...

I'm on a budget and I'm looking for a 1080p LED. So far the 43" vizio d-series is what im looking at but it doesn't have a great cnet rating. Besides the bad viewing angles (I will be right in front) is it a bad option?
After using the same four speakers for 40 years (yes, you read that right), I've decided to go with an updated surround sound system. I've been looking at the VIZIO SB3851 38-Inch 5.1 Channel Sound Bar as it's in my price range. Has anyone had any experiences with this model?
Since I'm new to...
