Clean as a whistle too! They had a spare cartridge too for $.50 as well! Got everything to work except for the scanning part. I bought this mostly for the fax ability, but I'd like to get the scanner up as well just to see if it will work.

I am running XP and HP doesn't support this model in XP, but for printing. I used the compatibility option under right click, then properties for Win 98/ME.

Obviously the PC sees this thing..it prints what I want it to. But under HP Office Manager, it can not connect to it.

Any ideas??? Thanks in advance

maybe try a newer driver or something, if HP doesnt support winxp on that model you may be sol, you would be lucky to get saomething to work with compatibility mode it just deosnt work that great except certain softwares like games.

UPDATE:
Well.."DUH" on moi!!! Turns out they gave me the WRONG owners manual! Turns out....H.P. offers FULL XP support for this thing!!!

Now I get it to do everything it's supposed to! Damn...really lucky find!!!
