Yamaha HTR-5280 versus RX-V800? (1 Viewer)

Yamaha HTR-5280 and RX-V800 seems like almost same product. Do you know the difference between the two? Who's better and why they have two line of products which seemingly same?

These are virtually the same product. The RX-V800 is sold through a network of authorized "Brick & Morter" dealers. These would be dedicated Home Theater Stores. The HTR-5280 is the model sold through mail order, internet dealers, and other discount stores like Best Buy.

Same product, two different lines intended for sale at different point of sales. The RXV line is intended for sale only at authorized Yamaha dealerships and are not intended for sale online or via mail order. Apparently buying via an unauthorized source nullifies your warranty.
The HTR line is sold at bulk resellers, catalogs, and online and the line is just rebadged versions of RXV models.
