Xbox disk read errors (1 Viewer)

Often when I insert a game, my Xbox will tell me that it's damaged or dirty, or not a game or a DVD or a music CD. Any ideas on how to rectify this WITHOUT sending it to Microsoft?

Yeah....just hit eject and reseat the game. Close the disc drawer and it will most likely load just fine.

XBOX is very picky about discs and if it's not in there just so it'll give you an error message.

I get those errors every once and a while as well. Ejecting has always worked for me.
