i was a big fan of 24's first half but then i felt the show died a slow real-time death. still, i watched to the end and there's alot of potential for season 2.

my question is, now that we know the DVDs are coming out right before the next season, will you watch the series on TV or not? i can wait to rent the series on DVD; the only caviat being i'm the type that HATES spoilers so i don't want to be watching Simpsons in february and have a promo for 24 coming on immediately telling me a major plot point that happened in the last episode.

Well, we assume that's the case. Fox hasn't issued a press release or anything.

I'm watching. I read too much TV-related internet coverage to be "safe" and have no patience anyway.

Definitely watching this season. I think, well for me, that I'm anticipating it too much to wait many more months for it to come to DVD. And, even though they claim it'll come to DVD, you just never know.

Season 1 of 24 was up at the start, a little down in the middle(because they didnt know if the show was going to be picked up for the final half of the season) and then the end was full speed ahead. Excellent show and i can not wait till Season 2 starts

I'm definitely watching it. Part of the show is the suspense of the cliffhangers, and they have a greater effect if you have to wait a whole week to see their resolution.
