Will this projector do 480p (1 Viewer)

Just wondering if i got a component to vga converter if this projector would do 480p and also allow me to play gamecube and xbox games in widescreen?

I pretty sure that will do all you want it to and more. But I think it needs a 5 BNC connection (RGBHV) not component. Cable is about $50.00

Actually it is a vga input so wouldn't I need a component cable out of dvd/gamecube turning into vga?
