Will my remote work with this receiver? (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone,

I am looking to upgrade my reciever from an Onkyo TX-DS595
to an Onkyo TX-SR501. The only problem I have is that the 501 has a lesser remote than the 595 (non learning) So here's the question, will a 595 remote control a 501?

It shouldn’t be hard to find out. Just take your remote to the nearest Circuit City and try it out the current-model 502. Those remote codes don't change much from year to year.
